Acacia catechu (L.f.) Willd. is a deciduous tree belonging to the family Fabaceae (subfamily Mimosoideae), commonly known as Khair, Cutch tree, or Black Catechu. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is known as "Er Cha".
