Alitame is a new generation of high-intensity low-calorie sweeteners. It has the sweetness and
flavor of sucrose, and also has the characteristics of high sweetness, good stability, low calories,
high solubility, good physical properties and high safety. Its sweetness is 2000-2900 times that of
sucrose. Compared with the sweetness of 10% sucrose solution, the sweetness of alitame is 2000
times that of sucrose; compared with the sweetness of 2% sucrose solution, its sweetness is Its
2900 times. In addition, its sweetness is 7 times that of saccharin, 12 times that of aspartame, and
50 times that of sodium cyclamate. In terms of taste, its sweetness resembles sucrose without any
bitterness, metallic taste or other peculiar smell. Alitame is a white, odorless crystalline powder with
a strong sweetness. Its melting point is 100°C (slow heating), and its re-freezing point is 102°C; its
melting decomposition temperature is 136-137°C. It has high solubility and is easily soluble in water
(130g/L) and ethanol (610g/L). The pH of its 5% aqueous solution is about 5.6. Molecular formula:
C14H25N3O4S, relative molecular mass is 331.43.
Alitame supplied by Insen is a dipeptide sweetener synthesized from aspartic acid and alanine.
Its sweetness is more than 2000 times that of sucrose, 10 times higher than that of aspartame.
It has the advantages of good taste, high sweetness and low calories. It is one of the substitutes
of sucrose, with stable properties and wide application.
1. Low-calorie sugar.
3. Can be part of a healthy diet .
4. The taste and Texture of sugar, without all the calories.
5. Contributes far fewer calories (approximately 90 percent less) than sugar.
