Cabbage contains glucose brassican and indole-3-acetaldehyde. The content of the former is 0.5-0.9% in young
leaves and 0.05-0.2% in old leaves. Flavonol, Leucoan thocyanins, Chlorogenic acid, Allyl isothiocyanate, sulfur
containing antithyroid substances.
